Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Catch-All Checker ("we", "us") operates catchallchecker.com and the associated verification dashboard and API. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and the rights you have over it, in line with the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Email addresses you check

Addresses submitted for verification — through the free checker, the dashboard, bulk CSV uploads or the API — are processed transiently: we use them to perform live DNS, SMTP and provider-level checks and to return a result to you. Free-checker submissions are not added to any marketing list and are not sold or shared. For account holders, verification results (address plus status and flags) are retained in your account history so you can re-download bulk results; you can delete jobs and their results at any time, and they are removed from backups on our normal rotation schedule.

3. Free-tool quota tracking

To enforce the free checker's daily quota and to prevent abuse, we record the IP address of free-check requests together with a counter and timestamp. This data is used only for rate limiting, abuse prevention and security, and is automatically deleted on a rolling basis once it is no longer needed for those purposes. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in protecting the service.

4. Account and billing data

If you create an account we store your email address, password hash, plan and credit balance, and usage records (which features you used and when). Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We receive only a payment reference, the amount, and the last four digits/brand for receipts. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligations for invoicing records (Art. 6(1)(c)).

5. Cookies and analytics

The marketing site sets no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. The dashboard uses a session cookie strictly necessary for login. Server logs (IP, user agent, request path) are kept briefly for security and debugging.

6. Sharing and processors

We share data only with processors needed to run the service: our hosting provider (EU data centres), Stripe (payments), and a transactional email provider (account emails). We never sell personal data. Where a processor is outside the EEA/UK, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

7. Retention

Free-check quota records: rolling short-term retention. Account data: for the life of the account and up to 30 days after deletion. Billing records: as required by tax law. Bulk job results: until you delete them or your account closes.

8. Your rights

You can request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your personal data; restriction of or objection to processing; and a portable copy of data you provided. If you believe an address of yours was checked by one of our customers, contact us and we will explain what transient processing occurred and apply applicable rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

9. Contact
